Gunnergirl “Gunner”
Sweet Gunner is the matriarch of the BGK9 household. At 13 years of age, she can be
found staring longingly from the opposite side of the gate when you walk in our house.
She will probably get the appearance of a very poor girl that is very attention deprived.
This is her way of luring you in for some tlc...approach at your own risk, she is very good at
what she does!

Our Crew, both working and pets
Jaxon “Jax”
Jax is my retired competition dog. He is 10 years young but don’t tell him that. He has not
yet received the memo that he is getting of age. Jax favorite past times include dock
diving, playing ball and best of all, getting the opportunity to do bitework with daddy.
Tito
What can I say about Tito other than he is definitely not just an ordinary dog...he is one of
a kind. I guess I will elaborate more about Tito on his personal page.
IBTK “Itty Bitty Titty Kitty”, “Bitty Kitty”, “Bitty”
Bitty Kitty is a true diamond in the ruff. Rescued from a local shelter, we had every
intention in the world to work with her to trust again, clean her up health wise and adopt
her out BUT things did not exactly go according to plan. More about Bitty on her page!
Herbie- otherwise known as “Herbie Derbie”
Like Bitty Kitty, Herbie Derbie is also a rescue, pulled from a local animal shelter at just 8
weeks of age. We also had every intention of adopting him out, and actually had a home
ready and waiting for him BUT once again things did NOT go according to plan. More
about Herbie Derbie HERE.
Pistol
Pistol is 3 year old female Belgian Malinois that joined our home in October 2011. Darryl is
currently working Pistol towards a French Ring title. Pistol has everything that is desirable
in a working dog. She is extremely driven to work, has full solid grips and strong desire to
please her handler.
Jexx
Jexx is Darryl’s retired competition dog. Jexx has one favorite past and present hobby-
working! Jexx is an extremely high drive Belgian Malinois that lives for bite work. With
extreme crushing grips, he is a force to be reckoned with on the trial field. Lucky for the
decoys, he is retired and only comes out to ‘
play’ on occasion.
