At TCK9 we admittedly do not offer luxurious accomodations as other, more
commercialized facilities may provide. Your dog will not have his/her own flat screen tv
to watch Balto on, will not have the choice between a pillow top or memory foam
mattress and will not be hand fed filet mignon cooked to their liking. We do not privately
rock your dog to sleep or rub his belly to the tune of a sweet lullaby each night and we do
not serve fresh bacon and eggs for breakfast when they awake in the mornings.
You are probably wondering at this point WHY we would possibly mention all of the
services that we do not offer out publicly on the World Wide Web. What have we to
gain...or lose?
It is true. At TCK9 we do not offer the above services. What we do offer is much, much
different.
At TCK9, we offer FAMILY STYLE Boarding. This is a safe, home environment for your
dog to stay while you are away from home. Your dog is treated as a guest in our home
and will not have to compete for attention and you will not be charged for a little bit of
TLC. Because we pride ourselves as a TRAINING Facility, at TCK9, we accept only a
small number of dogs in for boarding at any given time so that we can provide each of
our guests, both training and/or boarding, the proper time and attention needed to make
their stay with us worthwhile.
In place of luxurious bedding, dogs boarding at TCK9 can often times be found lounging
on the couch in the evenings watching tv with our family and it is not unheard of to find
one snuggled up in one of our beds for the night. Instead of filet mignon, bacon and
eggs, there is an all time favorite to dogs in our home...lapping up misc yummies off of
the fingers of our toddler who can also be seen sneaking treats to dogs that learn quickly
that following her around is a good thing.
Basically what we are trying to say is this. When boarding at TCK9, your dog becomes a
member of our family (i.e. FAMILY STYLE Boarding) as long as he/she is friendly and
social enough to do so. Other boarding options are available to those dogs who would
prefer to lodge in privacy.
TCK9’s Boarding rates are $35 per day to temporarily join our family. Outdoor kennel
boarding is available at $22.50 per day.
