There are 2 questions we are regularly asked when meeting with new clients. How long have we been training dogs, and how did we meet. It is a true
statement that If it were not for dogs, the chances of us meeting would have been highly unlikely.
We met in 2004 at a PSA Dog Trial in Tomball, Texas. The club I trained with at the time was hosting a trail and Darryl was brought in to decoy/work the
trial...basically he was the bad guy wearing the suit that the dogs competing were trained to bite. As I remember it, Darryl was working the trial, spotted me
across the field was so smitten that he immediately dropped to one knee and proposed...thank goodness he was not severely injured by an advancing K9
during this moment of weakness! 6 months later, he jumped in his truck and drove 1496 miles from Maryland back to Texas with all of his belongings...the
rest is history! There may be a few other minor details left out but this is the story as “I” remember it...let’s not bother Darryl by asking what story he has to
tell.
On a more serious note, Darryl has been training dogs and competing for 15+ years. He is a Veteran of the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division
where he proudly served our country in Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield prior to becoming involved with dog training. Darryl’s most recent
accomplishment was training 4 working K9’s prior to the dogs being placed with the Harris County Sheriff’s Department K9 Unit. Fozzie, Boomer, Mikey
and Tamara have been on our streets working to keep our illegal narcotics out of the hands of our children and also assisting in apprehending criminals
who attempt to evade arrest. Additional Accomplishments are listed below.
I started training dogs after becoming involved with dog rescue about 12 years ago. Little did I know, my passion for assisting dogs in need would lead me
down the path to a career training dogs. Over the years, I have trained and placed countless dogs that would otherwise not have been deemed adoptable.
Together, Darryl and I make the perfect training team. Over the past 7 years, we have put our hearts and souls into the business of training dogs. This is
what we do and who we are, training dogs is our life and our passion. We are very well versed in all aspects of training which makes us extremely well
rounded trainers.
Being a family owned and operated, home based business, there are a few things you should prepare for when visiting our home.
--> There is a toddler running around the house and she pretty much runs the roost around here. She will probably cry, hoping for the chance to walk your
dog, by herself, on leash.
--> Dogs will bark when you walk in the door, it will be slightly chaotic and everyone will be anxious to see the new dog coming for a visit.
--> There is also a teenager who may or may not appear from her room during your visit here. The determining factor will be whether or not her friends are
available at that time for texting.
Did I mention we are a family operated dog business? Once you visit with us, you will know with out a doubt that THIS is where your dog needs to be for all
of your training and boarding needs.
